Have you heard about our involvement with Kites Over Enid? If you missed the article in the Enid News and Eagle you can read it from the news page on the Kites Over Enid website. We are so excited to be part of this historic event and would like everyone to get involved in this great project. Kites Over Enid set a North American record last year and this year promises to be even more exciting.
Check out their website for more information and pencil it in on your calendar. You won't want to miss it and we need everyone's support. This will be great exposure for the Enid SPCA and a wonderful event to be at.
If you would prefer to mail a check, note "Cats" or "Dogs" and the amount will be added to the thermometers!
The money will be split between Enid Habitat and Enid SPCA.

Welcome to the Enid SPCA
The Enid Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is a non-profit, 501 (c) 3 organization whose mission is to provide for the health and welfare of homeless, unwanted, or neglected animals. Our shelter is located at 1116 Overland Trail, and we are open Tuesday through Saturday. We adopt out cats and dogs every day to forever homes, so if you are considering adding a new member to your family, please consider adopting from a shelter.
We also offer professional grooming services, and Angie's Pet Plaza, located in the lobby, features a variety of high quality pet nutrition products and pet-related items. Best of all, your purchases help support our shelter and programs!
Take a moment to look around our website. If you have questions, feel free to call us at (580)233-1325, or stop by the shelter. We will be happy to introduce you to our guests! Or, if you cannot adopt a dog or cat at this time, monetary donations are always greatly appreciated. The Enid SPCA is a registered non-profit agency, and all donations are tax deductible. You can even donate online through our PayPal account, with the link below.

Just imagine lying on a cold, hard, concrete floor 24 hours a day. Add the stress of an unfamiliar place with sights and sounds feeling nothing like home, and you can understand the stress a dog feels in an animal shelter.
Your donation of a comfortable raised bed will provide a soft and dry place for a dog to have a good night's sleep.
Beds are offered at special discount , come with a 1 year warranty and are sent directly to the shelter in your name.
Please click the link and donate a bed so another of our dogs can have a soft place to relax.
It is a misdemeanor to dump and abandon ANY animal whether in town, or in the country. This includes animal shelters. It doesn't matter if it's yours or not. Abandonment is illegal and punishable with one year in jail and/or a $100 to $500 fine.

The Enid SPCA has a list which we use to give information to people who may be looking for a particular type of animal which we do not have. We also may refer to this list when we have an opening. Sadly, we seldom have a need to search for animals to fill empty spots. Due to the high volume of calls for placement, we encourage you to keep in contact with us every 3-4 days so that should a space become available we could possibly assist you. It is important that you understand that because we are a NO-KILL adoption facility and not a sanctuary, every animal we accept must be adoptable. So it's not that we don't want to help, sometimes we are just not able to help. We are a non-profit organization that works solely off of private donations from the public. We receive no federal, state, or city funding, so we are not able to work with the general public for medical care.
Remember: when you choose to rescue or bring home an animal, you have made a choice to be responsible for that animal just as if it is your very own. That includes food, water, shelter, medical attention and tender loving care.
