From the first time I saw Coco I knew she was the one to make our home complete. This day was July 23, 2014. As I kneeled down by her kennel I was told she probably wouldn’t come to me. So I asked if I could go inside with her. As I entered she took off out the doggy door but after looking in a few times she came back in and I reached out to pet her and she ran back out. I called her name a few more times and got her back in to me. I held my hand out for her to smell and she let me pet her. When I stopped she put her paw on my hand. It was so sweet. On July 25, 2014 I took my little dog Todo in to meet Coco and they sniffed each other and then went on about their own “business” I was imbarresed. The next day after my two boys got home from church camp we ventured out to the SPCA so they could meet Coco and they loved her so on that day July 26 , 2014 w e became a family of five. Coco was very shy at first and walked around with her tail tucked between he legs for the first few weeks but now she is such a happy dog. She loves to set on our laps and get loved on but boy does she let you know when you stop. She will paw at you until you start petting her again. In the mornings she loves to wake the boys up so they will play with her by licking them in the face and slapping them with her paw.
