Wow…what another busy great day. I guess I can probably quit saying “it’s been a busy day” because we are always busy. Jack, Dodger, Luna, Midnight and Tiger all found homes today. Thanks to Dr. Rutz we had another successful spay/neuter day.

I didn’t get a chance to get it on camera but Captain learned to lay down, shake and crawl today, thanks to Lynn one of our great volunteers. Captain is a great guy. He’s going to make someone a very good companion. Captain was originally adopted from Animal Control by a veteran that was going to train him to be his service dog. It turned out that Captain was heartworm positive and had to undergo treatment. You may remember us asking for donations to help his adopter pay for the treatment. Thanks to you guys enough money was raised. Unfortunately things didn’t work out with his new adopter and Captain stayed with us to finish out his treatment. He’s all finished now and he’s waiting for a home of his own.
