Retirement Plans
A gift of your retirement assets, such as a gift from your IRA, 401k, 403b, pension or other tax deferred plan, is a simple and tax wise way to make a gift.
Charitable Remainder Trusts
A charitable remainder trust (CRT) is an irrevocable trust that generates a potential income stream for you, as the donor to the CRT, or other beneficiaries, with the remainder of the donated assets going to the ESPCA.
Cash or appreciated property is transferred to fund a charitable remainder trust. The trust sells your property tax free and provides you income for life or a term of years.
Life Insurance
A gift of a life insurance policy can be a mutually beneficial gift. If your life insurance policy is no longer needed or will no longer benefit your survivors, consider making a gift and help further our mission.
Honorary Gifts
Honorary gifts celebrate an individual’s connection to ESPCA. Many groups, families and individuals choose to create an endowment or make a one-time gift in honor of respected loved one or friend.
Memorial Gifts
Memorial gifts ensure a person’s legacy will endure at the ESPCA. The ESPCA is honored to help families establish opportunities to pay tribute to their loved one. Family members, friends and even strangers may contribute to a memorial fund following the death of a loved one.
Life Estate
Individuals wanting to leave their home or farm to the ESPCA at their death, but would like to receive a current charitable tax deduction. A life estate gift can accomplish both goals
